A Dilapidation Report is an accurate record of a property’s condition at a specific date.
It records any existing damage, and the state of any particular aspects of the property that are likely to be affected by construction work, excavation or demolition.
These reports are usually carried out on properties both before and after major construction works nearby. Once the construction work is completed, comparing the before and after reports gives a snapshot/picture of any damage that seems to have occurred as a result of the local construction, excavation or demolition work.
